Naxos, Greece
Naxos Island is the major island in the Cyclades island group in the Aegean and it is one of the most attractive among the other Greek Islands. The largest town and capital of the island is Hora, occasionally called Naxos City. Naxos is a popular tourist destination, with several easily accessible ruins. With its 999 metres, Mount Zas is the highest in the Cyclades, and often traps the clouds, allowing for greater rainfall and supplying the island with abundant water.
